Welcome to Formica Brothers Bakery

Landmark: Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall

Welcome to Formica Bros. Bakery a Ducktown, Atlantic City tradition since 1919. Our legendary breads are hand crafted from fresh dough, never frozen using recipes and techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation. Our Master Bakers make our breads the same way my grandfather Francesco Formica did over 91 years ago. We bake continuously around the clock, seven days a week in order to ensure only the freshest of products reach our customers daily.

With the single goal of making great breads we are continually experimenting in our kitchens to bring new bread creations to our ever expanding wholesale and retail customers.

In addition to our Italian breads, we have an extensive selection of Artisan breads, dinner rolls, cookies, cannoli, pastries, biscotti and my grandmother Rosa’s famous Italian Tomato Pie.

I invite you to visit our Bakery Café located at 2310 Arctic Avenue, Atlantic City (Open daily 7am – 7pm) to enjoy a cup of Seattle’s Best Coffee, along with one of our bakery sweets or specialty breads. The café is Wi-Fi enabled so you can stay connected, or sit back and enjoy Sirius Satellite Radio either indoors or outdoors in the café’s courtyard. Stop in on a Saturday night when the coffee house is transformed into a Jazz café, where you can hear the Formica House band (7pm – 10pm) along with local legends like the Cole Brothers, Bob Stirling, Bob Mower who’ve stopped in to jam with the band. Parking is available at Angeloni’s II (Arctic Avenue) or at the bakery facility on Mississippi Avenue.

Thank you for visiting our website, we welcome the opportunity to share with you a piece of our family’s tradition and after you’ve tasted our legendary bread I’m sure you’ll agree “It’s Formica for Me!”
